Lessons | A Unique Approach

The GitterPicker String Factory offers the most unique approach to learning to play a stringed instrument.  For one monthly price, stringed instrument students get a weekly 30 minute one-on-one lesson with their primary instructor plus unlimited access to all teachers for mentoring sessions.  What this means is that GitterPicker students have the ability to take lessons from any of our instructors 6 days a week for no extra charge.

The GitterPicker String Factory is a recreational music teaching store.  Each instructor will customize your lesson plan for how you prefer to learn.  If you prefer a structured environment where a book is the primary teaching tool, your instructor will introduce you to several options in the latest instructional books.  If you just need some help working through songs then our instructors are glad to help.

Lessons at the GitterPicker String Factory are meant to be fun.  Our focus is on providing you with exercises and techniques that enable you to quickly play songs that you want to play.  If you simply want to bring in a CD and have the instructor teach you how to analyze and play a song, all you need to do is supply the CD.  If you just want to focus on technique and scales, the instructor will navigate you through their personal inventory of licks.
