Kathy Garrenton | Fingerstyle guitar, singer / songwriter
 Kathy Garrenton is not only a fabulous guitar player, she's an incredible singer. Kathy's approach to the guitar is very simplistic - learn to play songs from the beginning to the end. Kathy is the type of teacher that focuses on the fun aspects of the instrument. This means that lesson with Kathy are all about learning songs and then performing these songs in public. Kathy really shines with the students who have a passion for performing and she will take the performer to the next level.
Kathy is primarily an acoustic fingerstyle player. Kathy developed her unique fingerstyle approach through observing and copying some of her favorite musicians like Allison Krauss, Joni Mitchell, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and countles other folk and country artists.
