Mark Verba | electric guitar, bass guitar
Mark Verba joined the GitterPicker String Factory teaching staff in December, 2004. Mark is the lead guitarist for the Cleveland supergroup "Deja Voodoo". Mark and his band are the regular openers for the Cleveland Browns games at the Velvet Dog in the Warehouse District. They play to a packed house every weekend.
Mark has been playing guitar for 24 years. He grew up in the 80's when lead guitar playing was an art. He is one of the fastest guitar players in the Cleveland music scene. Influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughn, Gary Moore, Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhodes, and every other great thrasher from the 80's, Mark has been able to successfully build upon the licks these guys invented to create the "Mark Verba" style of playing.
Mark has been playing the Cleveland music scene for several years. Prior to Deja Voodoo Mark was the lead guitarist for Rude Mood and Creatures of Habit - two very successful Cleveland bands in the 90's.
