On the 1st and 3rd Friday of every month several youngsters between the ages of 8 and 17 gather at the GitterPicker String Factory to learn the art of playing traditional music as a group. Lead by Brett and Serenity Ridgeway, each student is guided through the process of learning to play with other same-level musicians.
These gatherings are educational and are meant for new musicians. We recommend that participants have a little bit of experience with their instrument so that they are able to perform the chord changes in time with the other musicians.
The cost for this workshop is $5 per participant and is payable at the door.
