The Finger Noise Olde Thyme String Workshop is a gathering of acoustic music lovers who meet monthly at the GitterPicker String Factory in Twinsburg, OH. Professionals, hobbyists, and novices who wish to share their music or learn from others are encouraged to participate in this educational gathering. Led by Brett and Serenity Ridgeway, our repertoire will consist of traditional hymns and songs that are appropriate for the hammer and mountain dulcimers. Acoustic instruments of all kind are both welcome and encouraged. This includes the guitar, clawhammer banjo, harmonica, dobro, mandolin, and any other folk instrument.
The Finger Noise Olde Tyme String Club will make itself available for entertainment in our community in order to share our music and educate non-musicians on the joys of playing traditional folk instruments. We openly offer guidance to anyone seeking help with learning their instrument and we encourage all people to participate in making traditional American music.
 You Need To Know . . .
- We meet on the first Friday of every month
- Meetings are organized and hosted by Brett Ridgeway who is an employee of the GitterPicker String Factory
- Meetings are from 7:00pm to 9:00pm
- Meetings are $10.00 per person
- Meetings are open to performers as well as observers
- We provide opportunities for club members to perform in public
- We encourage new members to join us!
